Rent The Theatre

Guelph Little Theatre is available to rent for your performance, event, class or rehearsal.

​

  • The Main Theatre boasts a 40’ by 24’ stage with excellent sight lines and acoustics accommodating up to 256 guests.

  • The Slater Hall is the main lobby area at GLT and accommodates 20-30 people with tables and chairs, or 50-60 with just chairs.

  • GLT’s Rehearsal Hall is a no-frills space, at approximately 40’ x 24’, and is perfect for rehearsals or classes.

Insurance for all event participants, personnel, audience members and/or
attendees is the responsibility of the renter. GLT reserves the right to require the
renter to purchase liability insurance for the duration of their lease with GLT
facilities.

Main Theatre

256 seat capacity raked auditorium with 8 accessible seats providing excellent
sight lines and acoustics.


40’ x 24′ stage
 

Soft Goods

  • Two-panel black traveler (approx. 40’ wide, 16oz black commando) can be used EITHER on an upstage track OR as a Main Drape on a downstage track with manual draw operation from stage right

  • White scrim (approx. 40’ wide) may be used upstage as a cyclorama (withor without traveler in front of it)

  • Six black fabric legs (10’ wide, 16oz black commando) with three pipes oneach side of the stage 

 

Strand 300 series lighting console

  • Two DMX universes, 400 Intensity & 400 Attribute Channels

  • Up to 48 submasters on five pages

  • One and Two Scene manual playback with or without submasters

  • Automated button or cross-fader pair playback with a single cue stack


GL2800 48 channel mixing console

  • Two Fulcrum 2 Way Full Range Coaxial Horn

  • Two Fulcrum Dual 12 inch Subcardioid Subwoofer


VPL-FX40 Data Projector

  • Projector mounts are available on the centre line of the theatre – please inquire

  • VGA DB-15 pin & HDMI cables (through Baluns & Cat 6 cable) from booth to stage


Eight Hollyland Solidcom Pro wireless headsets for internal communication

 

Backstage Facilities

  • 1 large dressing room with 12 performer stations, make up area with sink, fridge, and two washrooms – one with a shower

  • Rehearsal hall can be set up with additional dressing areas

  • Costume racks, washer, and dryer available

  • Large carpentry workshop with table saw, sliding compound mitre saw,

  • and worktables

Slater Lobby

  • Approximately 650 square feet

  • Seating for 20-60 depending on setup

  • Mackie Mix12FX sound board, ART SLA1 dual-channel amp

  • Basic stage lighting available for the Corner Stage
