The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

The Ward One Acts

The Ward One Acts is an annual summer theatre festival hosted at GLT, which is conveniently located in Guelph’s historic Ward One municipal district. The festival provides an opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of theatre, both on and off stage, as well as a venue for new plays.

All plays are presented in the round with seating directly on the GLT mainstage.

Tickets for shows produced by Guelph Little Theatre can be purchased using a credit card through our online box officeTicket providers for shows by other presenters vary. Please refer to the presenter's website.

 

Tickets can also be purchased in person at our box office prior to a show.

The GLT Box Office and Bar accepts all form of payment (cash, credit, debit).

 

Patron Safety

There are currently no screening requirements to attend a performance. Patrons who wish to wear a mask during the performance are welcome to do so.
